Mandatory equipment must be carried from start to finish. Event staff may conduct random equipment checks during the race.

There are three aid stations along the route:

  • Pärjänjoentie Crossing (40 km and 25 km)
  • Anninkoski (40 km), aid station closes at 5:00 PM.
  • Pärjänjoentie Overpass (all distances)

At the aid stations, we provide water and SQUEEZY Orange sports drink. Please note that there are no cups at the aid stations, only jugs for filling your own cup, bottle, or hydration bladder. Do not drink directly from the jugs! Water is intended for drinking only, not for pouring over yourself. Additionally, at the Pärjänjoentie Overpass aid station, Coca-Cola will be available.

In addition to drinks, the aid stations offer:

  • Chocolate (Panda full chocolate eggs)
  • Oikia tasty chips
  • Pickles
  • Bananas
  • Mandarins
  • Sea salt
  • For special diets: Brunberg lactose-free milk chocolate and Fazer green balls (vegan)
  • Oikia chips that are suitable for lactose-free, vegan, or gluten-free diets

After the run, you can restore your energy reserves with delicious hot soup from Feelia, with a vegan option available. Salty snacks from Oikia will also be available at the finish line.

Aid stations have trash bins. All waste generated during the event must be brought to the aid stations or the finish line bins. Fruit peels should also be disposed of in the trash bins.

The race is “partially self-supported.” Participants carry their own food and drink needed between aid stations. External support is allowed only at official aid stations (Pärjänjoentie Crossing, Anninkoski, Pärjänjoentie Overpass). At aid stations, runners can refill their drink supplies and eat the snacks provided. Snacks can also be loaded into a cup and eaten while gathering momentum for the next stage. You can receive additional food from your own support crew – but only at the official aid stations.

Remember to check the Trail Runner’s Etiquette before the event!
